  • 200,000 ft2 office building.
  • First ground-up office building in the Washington region to achieve LEED® platinum rating.
  • The Governair custom designed HVAC system on this next generation building is 39% more efficient than standard office systems, contributing to an overall 28% reduction energy consumption.
  • This 4-stage air filtration system circulates 30% more outside air than required, making it capable of turning over the building’s air every 51 minutes and resulting in the removal of over 90% of airborne contaminants.

Eaton-Williams® Air Handlers, Chilled Water and DX units, and more

  • Virtually the entire Eaton-Williams product offering was used for the Met Office’s purpose-built, environmentally friendly building in Exeter.
  • To meet the building’s requirements for efficient cooling and optimal air distribution, no fewer than 20 Moducel LKS air handlers, 40 Moducel IPAC units (20 serving each IT hall), and Series 600 chilled water and DX units have been installed. In addition, Vapac humidifiers, commissioned by EWS and Colman floor grilles, louvers and diffusers were also specified and used throughout the building.

Ventrol® Custom Air Handlers with FANWALL TECHNOLOGY®

  • 350,000 ft2 office building needed upgrade to six aging air handling systems.
  • Replacement air handlers or fans were too large to fit inside the building.
  • Solution: Knock-down air handlers with a FANWALL® system – 9 FANWALL cubes in the supply unit (55,000 CFM) and 4 cubes in the return unit (33,000 cfm) at 5” TSP.
  • System delivers lower acoustic levels, increased airflows, and improved airflow through coil and filters.
